GBCT - Jelly Baby Jog For Dee

Hi all,

It is December tomorrow and the start of the “Jelly Baby Jog For Dee” taking place EVERYDAY throughout the month.

All you need to do to take part is go for a walk, jog or run.

Any distance

Any location

In your own time

In December

Remember to wear your GBCT T-Shirt and please send photos, videos, memories to the guild so we can create a compilation of everyone who took part to post on the socials @TheGbct

It would be wonderful if we could fill our socials by seeing everyone out in the fresh air, in their guild top and remembering our dear friend Dee.

This activity is also open to non-members – so please share this to anyone you think might want to join in who knew Dee. They can wear any T-shirt they like, perhaps if they are a member of another organization, they can wear that!

Important part is to join in, and there are special prizes to be won!!! Details to follow.

But if you haven’t seen it already check out our promo video and please join the GBCT Strava Club, which is a free app that logs your activity (but you can still take part whether you sign up to Strava or not, it's a nice way to share your activity with other guild members and easy to use)

And if anyone would like to host a guild social meet-up – we can join in with Parkrun which is a free, community event where you can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate. It is 5km (3.1miles) distance, which is on average a 45/50min walk – you can even bring the dog!

Parkrun events which run every Saturday in Dec starting at 9am with locations all over the UK.

Dates for a social activity could be 2nd / 9th / 16th / 23rd / 30th
